The Monterrei region is located in Galicia, Northwest Spain, is an area of steep hills, terraced vineyards, and Atlantic climate. The best white wines in the applellation are made with the aromatic white Godello. Godello shares with grapes like Riesling an enhanced ability to express terroir. 

Godello is a dfelicate grape to grow and vinify, but in the right hands, the wine brings the key qualities of fruit, acidity, minerality, and a strong floral element, all superbly balanced. The wine is 100% Godello.

The Godello's aroma is delicate, with notes of peach, apricot, lemon and grapefruit, all expressed with lively acidity. The floral notes are beautifully integrated.
